Groups in NE Wales - Join TCC
We take groups into membership from across North East Wales, and create a “broad-base” by having a wide range of communities represented. We believe that we are stronger when we work together with people from different backgrounds. We oppose any form of discrimination, and we respect and value the diversity within our membership.
We ask each member group for member dues each year, which varies depending on their size (from £50 a year). We feel that the dues are an important part of membership, as they represent an investment in the community, and increase our members’ ownership of the organisation. However we are very flexible with dues contributions, and would not expect any groups to pay who can't afford it.

Member groups can:
-
Raise issues for TCC to work on, setting the organisation's agenda.
-
Join in any of TCC's campaigns.
-
Build community power together, having the strength and support of TCC's member groups to take action together and create change.
-
Participate in community organising training, together with other TCC members or specifically tailored for their group, free of charge. This includes intensive residential training and online courses.
-
Gain support from TCC's staff team of community organisers.
-
Access weekly community organising sessions for young people.
Groups outside of NE Wales - training and support
We offer a range of community organising training courses, in person when possible, and can offer remote support online to groups no matter where they are based. Find out more about community organising training here.

Organisations
We work in partnership with organisations across the UK, as well an in Europe and the US. We're very open to new partnership working and new ideas. We're interested in building relationships and working together, to build more power in communities and achieve more change.
Not part of a group?
In 2021 we're planning on launching a new type of TCC membership, so that people who aren't currently part of a member group can join in TCC's campaigns and community organising training. Fill in the form here and you'll be the first to hear about it!
Support our work
As a small charity the funds we raise are vital to our work. Donations give us the flexibility to respond quickly to the new issues in communities when they arise.
