Holywell is going to have a new high school built, but this will mean losing the current sixth form.
Many feel that the loss of the sixth form is a disadvantage for Holywell. It could lose the town money economically, and having to travel elsewhere may put pupils off studying to A level.
TCC is supporting St Peter's in Holywell to work on this issue, working with Flintshire County Council and local schools to present alternatives. This page will be updated as this issue progresses.
